OUR VISION
After almost two decades in the outdoor industry, Caitlin and Doug founded Parallel 45 out of the belief that organizations can be more successful by focusing on more than just sales. Manufacturers and retail stores are more than their products. They are communities of people and businesses who come together around mutual interest, passion or purpose.
We believe in connecting brands and people, building communities of those who enjoy spending time in the outdoors be it camping, fishing, cycling, paddling, skiing or climbing. Customers choose those communities and businesses that come together around a purpose. After all, 78% of customers want companies to address important social justice issues and 87% will purchase a product because a company advocates for an issue they care about. We help you tell your story and deliver you results.

DANE HEIG
Employee #1
(he/him)
Born and raised on a Northern Minnesota hunting and fishing resort, the outdoors have always been in Dane’s nature. Having had a successful career in large event management that has brought him around the country and back to Minnesota, he has chosen to return to his roots and true passions in the outdoors world. Dane is a skillful communicator, who fuels fulfillment and meaning through his curiosity and activity. If he’s not out fly fishing with his Australian Shepherd, you can catch him camping, snowboarding, or hunkered down tying flies for his next excursion.
